New healthcare information for New York’s SSA disability claimants

The Social Security Administration is looking for ways to help disabled Americans, and the agency recently added links to their disability website in an effort to help individuals applying for disability benefits.

• Click here for information about getting help to pay for your prescription drugs.  Also hosted by HHS, this website takes users to the Partnership for Prescription Assistance.  Here visitors can find information about getting free or reduced cost prescription medications.  Free or inexpensive drugs are often offered by state or local governments, drug companies, or other local organizations.
