New York Man Charged With Workers' Compensation Fraud

Edward Panus, a fish saleman from Chenago County, received over 60,000 in workers’ compensation benefits despite being self employed.  Mr. Panus, 59, is facing felony charges. Investigators said the Mr. Panus was receiving benefits from a back injury he suffered in 1988.  Hopefully people will think twice about defrauding the workers compensation system in the future.
