Possible Governor Appointed Worker's Compensation Position

According to a report in Newsday, the New York State Senate is discussing a bill that would create a governor-appointed position to oversee workers compensation claims.  The Ombudsman for Injured Workers, as it would be called, would attempt to resolve compensation claims and maintain a registry of all investigations.  We will provide more information as it becomes available.
