Stimus Payments to Social Security Recipients

As part of the economic stimulus bill, people who recieve Social Security, or Social Security Disability insurance will recieveone-time $250 payment.  The who are elgible for benefits under the programs from November to January will recieve the payments sometime in May.

According to the Social Security Administration, the payments will be distributed to beneficiaries in the same manner as their current benefits.  People who recieve both SSI and SSDI will only recieve one check.  Also, SSDI beneficiaries under 18 will not recieve any payments.  You can read more about this developement directly from the Social Security Administration.
