Who will receive the one-time $250. economic recovery payment? And, if I'm eligible what do I need to do to be sure I receive it and when should I expect it?

This one-time payment will be sent to the 55 million social security beneficiaries who ere eligible for benefits at any time during the months of November and December 2008 and January 2009.  This inlcudes individuals who receive Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Railroad Retirement and/or Veteran's Benefits.  If you are eligible the payment will be made to you automatically; you don't need to do anyting.  All payments should be received by June 4, 2009.
