Contractor Injured at West Point

A worker at the US Military Academy in West Point was injured after a fall last week. A hired contractor working in the boiler room at Eisenhower Hall fell from a ladder and hit a cement floor.

The height of the fall was estimated to be about 10 feet. The contractor was taken to Keller Army Hospital on the West Point campus by paramedics. After the initial treatment at the hospital for injuries sustained, the worker was transported to Valhalla’s Westchester Medical Center.

The unidentified worker was said to have suffered a serious head injury but no other information was available about their condition.
