Make NY's Economy More Competitive - Reduce Works Comp Costs

You've heard the term, the "sandwich" generation which refers to the many baby boomers who are being pulled in two directions - caring for their children and their adult parents.  Now, due to the tough economy, this group is facing another challenge - twice the costs in a tough economy.  A non-partisan agenda during the legislative session will focus on getting the more-than 800,000 New Yorkers who are out of work employed and the need to reduce energy, transportation, regulatory and workers’ compensation costs to make New York’s economy more financially competitive -- a goal being to help the "sandwich" generation.
