Mechanic Nabbed for Workers' Compensation Fraud

Yet another workers' comp fraud - this time in Columbia County.  Michael Sherman has been chared with workers' compensation fraud after receiving benefits for a shoulder injury he had while working at an automotive garage.  While receiving benefits, he was caught working for another garage -- he had falsified numerous claims to the NYS Workers' Compensation Board. 

Sherman was arraigned in the Town of Greenport Court released in his own recognizance. He is set to return to the Town of Taghkanic court later in the month.
