Obama: Don't Expect Additional Stimulus Spending from Feds

The economic stimulus package signed in Feb. 2009, won't be the model for the next wave of initiatives to jump-start private sector hiring stated Obama before kicking off a summit meeting on job creation.  In an interview with Richard Wolf and Justin Hyde for US Today Obama stated,  "You've got essentially a 7 million to 8 million gap between where jobs should be for relatively full employment and where we are.  That is my greatest fear, is we don't close that gap."  While it's not going to be possible to have another huge stimulus package, Obama did outline several other possibles.  Read excerpts from Obama's the interview with President Obama.    Read full article.
