The Disability Hearing - Live Webcast Tonite at 8:30pm

Posted on Apr 05, 2010

LIVE DISABILITY WEBCAST TONITE AT 8:30PM

The Social Security Disability hearing gives disability claimants a second chance to provide critical evidence and testimony as to why they are unable to work. We sometimes refer to this hearing as the claimant's "one day in court" because they essentially present their case to an Administrative Law Judge hoping to overcome their previous denial for benefits.

These hearings are very different from a typical courtroom proceeding, although the claimant is under oath and subject to the penalties of perjury. Markhoff & Mittman attorney Scott Daniels addresses what takes place at a disability hearing, who is present, the kinds of questions that are asked and how to best prepare for your hearing.

Streaming live from Blogtalkradio, tonite's episode is a continuation of Markhoff & Mittman's series of live disability webcasts.
