Totally Disabled Workers Need a "Safety Net"

Posted on May 13, 2009

Seriously injured workers in New York State have not been given the "safety net" protections as promised by the 2007 Workers Compensation Reform legislation.  The New York Workers Compensation Alliance has set up a process so that you can send Governor Paterson, Senate Majority Leader Smith and your individual state legislators an e-mail message requesting their support of this much needed legislation.  Please click here to support this legislative bill that would help the most needy injured workers continue to receive benefits if they have also been found to be entitled to Social Security Disability.
