Woman Pleads Guilty - Future Benefits for Workers' Comp Claims Waived

It happens again and again and again.  An individual is collecting workers' comp benefits and starts another job....

In this situation, a Suffolk county woman was receiving workers' comp benefits for a back injury and a hip injury while working as a food service employee.  She then took an office job.  Investigators from the New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) found out.  She pleaded guilty and now owes the NYSIF $34,000. and signed an agreement waiving any future benefits for her workers' comp claim.  Is workers comp insurance fraud worth it?
