Women Face Larger Road Blocks to Health Care

The report,  “Roadblocks to Health Care: Why the Current Health Care System Does Not Work For Women,” found that because women are less likely than men to be employed full time (52 percent versus 73 percent), they were less likely to have health insurance. Twenty-one million women were without health insurance in 2007.  According to the report, single women are twice as liekly as those that are married to lack health insurance.  View full article.
