Workers' Compensation - New Maximum Weekly Benefit Announced

Recently Released from The New York Workers' Compensation Board -- Effective July 1, 2010 the maximum weekly benefit rate for workers' compensation is 2/3 of the NYS average weekly wage for the previous calendar year as determined by the NYS Dept of Labor.

The new maximum weekly benefit rate, for claims w/ dates of accident from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 will be $739.83.
